How to ask with this skill installed
Installing the skill gives your AI a method. Your request still has to provide the case-specific facts, constraints and expected output.
Describe the decision or deliverable, not just the topic.
Add source material, audience, limits and known facts.
Set format, quality criteria and checks.
When to use it
- A customer asks "should I lease or buy this vehicle?"
- Customer is deciding between two or three vehicles with different lease terms
- Fleet/corporate customer needs a lease quote
- Customer wants to understand their lease payment breakdown
- Analyzing a lease pull-ahead opportunity (current lease equity)
- Early lease termination analysis for a customer wanting to get out of their current lease
- Generating a lease quote for a customer with tiered credit (multiple rate scenarios)
Mistakes to avoid
- Confusing money factor with APR — dividing by 2400 vs. 2400 gives you the wrong number and overstates the rate by 10×
- Not disclosing acquisition fees and dealer prep fees as capitalized cost additions — these increase the payment and are a source of customer complaints at lease signing
- Ignoring the mileage overage risk — if a customer drives 18,000 miles/year and takes a 10K-mile lease, the excess mileage charges at lease end will be significant; always match the lease to the customer's actual driving
- Forgetting to tell customers about the wear-and-tear standard — excess wear charges at lease return are a major source of post-lease surprises; set expectations upfront
- Showing lease payments without explaining the residual — customers who think of leasing as "renting forever" will object; explain that at lease end they have the option to buy at the predetermined residual price
