How to ask with this skill installed
Installing the skill gives your AI a method. Your request still has to provide the case-specific facts, constraints and expected output.
Describe the decision or deliverable, not just the topic.
Add source material, audience, limits and known facts.
Set format, quality criteria and checks.
When to use it
- User asks about current macro regime or regime transitions
- User wants to understand structural market rotations (concentration vs broadening)
- User asks about long-term positioning based on yield curve, credit, or cross-asset signals
- User references RSP/SPY ratio, IWM/SPY, HYG/LQD, or other cross-asset ratios
- User wants to assess whether a regime change is underway
What you need first
- FMP API Key (required): Set
FMP_API_KEYenvironment variable or pass--api-key - Free tier (250 calls/day) is sufficient (script uses ~10 calls)
Mistakes to avoid
- Acting on single-component signals: A falling yield curve alone doesn't mean contraction — you need multiple confirmations
- Changing allocation too frequently: Monthly data means monthly signals at best; don't over-trade based on weekly noise
- Ignoring the transition zone: Transitional is a valid regime — not every month needs a decisive call
- Recency bias: The current regime is the most likely next regime; don't position for the dramatic shift until multiple components confirm
