How to ask with this skill installed
Installing the skill gives your AI a method. Your request still has to provide the case-specific facts, constraints and expected output.
Describe the decision or deliverable, not just the topic.
Add source material, audience, limits and known facts.
Set format, quality criteria and checks.
When to use it
- A credit application comes in from your website or a third-party lead source
- A customer wants to discuss financing options before visiting the dealership
- A deal is "dead" because the customer's credit union couldn't approve in time
- A customer has been turned down by one lender and needs alternatives
- Speed-to-lead situation: responding within 5 minutes of application receipt
- F&I manager needs deal structured with multiple lender comparisons
Mistakes to avoid
- Submitting to too many lenders simultaneously (many lenders share inquiry data — multiple rapid inquiries for the same deal can appear as rate shopping to other lenders and hurt the score)
- Not checking for existing loans with the same lender — a customer applying for a new Toyota loan while still having a Toyota Financial account may face automatic denial
- Ignoring the total debt-to-income (DTI) ratio — most lenders cap at 50% DTI including the new payment; if the customer's current obligations plus the new payment exceed this, the deal will be denied
- Presenting only the highest-payment option without explaining alternatives — F&I is about options, not pressure
- Forgetting to collect the SSN for the final credit pull before F&I — this delays the deal and wastes the customer's time
