Prepare the workspace.

Open the extracted folder with your agent and ask it to read the included instructions. Review the destination paths and the proposed changes before applying them.

Open Codex and ask it to read the relevant AGENTS.md and list the available skills. Check that it refers to the files you prepared.

A useful check

Ask the agent to identify the actual instructions it can read, explain the method it will follow and list the inputs it still needs. A confident answer alone does not confirm that a resource is loaded.

Start with a small task and fictional or approved data. Review the result before applying it to your work.

The controls or paths look different

Use the SETUP included in your downloaded version and check your installed platform’s documentation. File paths, controls and availability can change. Do not copy configuration into an unrelated directory to force it to work.

Can I keep my existing configuration?

Yes. Review the supplied files alongside your existing settings and choose the instructions relevant to your project. Avoid replacing a working configuration without reviewing the differences.

Does this guide verify every platform feature?

No. This page organises the pack’s setup documentation. It does not certify a platform version, subscription plan or performance improvement. The ChatGPT and Claude guides distinguish their own captured demonstrations.
